My guess is this couple stayed in the Hotel Playa Hermosa (now defuct) in the early 1980's. Not everybody has the fondest memories of San Blas - here is thier modern account of a trip 20 years ago....Travel / Mexico: Hotel Hermosa by Jane Westaway | New Zealand Listener
